Tomato "Russian Cossack".
Exotic indigo tomato with smoky dark flesh!
A mid-season indeterminate variety that attracts attention with its unusual anthocyanin coloration. Since it is a fourth-generation line (F4), the plants can yield fruits with a wide spectrum of colors, shapes, and flavors, making it especially exciting to grow.
Characteristics:
* Plant: Indeterminate type (tall-growing), with regular foliage.
* Fruits: Medium-sized, meaty, and round in shape.
* Color: The skin is dark (almost black) with green and pink stripes, and a deep indigo blue color clearly appears at the stem end (shoulders). The flesh has an unusual smoky-dark hue.
HISTORICAL REFERENCE:
Originating from the USA, this variety was developed by the renowned breeder Tom Wagner. According to him, it is a fourth-generation selection (not yet fully stabilized) containing blue color genes. It is derived from his earlier variety "Bearded Cossack".
